I grew up on the lakeshore of Onekama, Michigan, a town so small it's technically classified as a village. With a graduating class of only thirty-two, I spent so much of my time fantasizing about a life bigger than the small town. Some of those fantasies were of travel, adventure, and romance, but many of them were the fictional stories in my head.
At the University of Michigan, I minored in creative writing because I couldn't shake my love for it. But although I studied from 2013-2016, I didn't finish my first book until 2018. Since then, I've written five books, none quite ready enough for publication, but incredibly fun and educational along the way.
